The Jungle of Peril

The sound of wild thrashing and conflict drew you and then silence. When you parted the branches, you see her, almost motionless. Her body is not quite limp and twitches almost imperceptibly as her attacker pulses slightly as though sucking upon it's prey. Is she to be consumed? Or is this strange plant doing something even more sinister than simply feeding? Can she be saved?

I was in quite the odd mood and this is what came out.

Done in Poser Pro 2012 with a very slight tweak in PhotoShop. I was very interested in lighting and texturing as I have been wanting to see if I can get the Firefly Rendering Machine in Poser to come closer to the results that is getting using Lux.
